Summary
Zoro is the swordsman of the Straw Hat Pirates and a crucial character inOne Piece.His goal is to become the World’s Strongest Swordsman and it has been evident from the start that Zoro chases strength. Over the years, Zoro has strengthened his mind and body, as well as his swordplay considerably.

Currently, he can be considered to be one of the very strongest in theOne Pieceworld, however, he still has not reached the top just yet. There are quite a lot of characters that are still stronger than him. Despite Zoro unlocking a new power that gave him the title of king of hell recently, he can still be bested by quite a few One Piece characters.
10Ryokugyu
Aramaki, also known as Ryokugyu, is one of the three Navy Navy Admirals at the moment. He’s quite powerful, as is expected of an Admiral. His primary power appears to be his Mori Mori no Mi which is a logia ability that allows him to become a forest itself.
He also carries a sword, however, his skill with the blade remains unknown. He has a three-crown bounty on his head, which automatically means that he’s among the elites of the world. Zoro is yet to reach the level of an Admiral.
9Fujitora
Fujitora is also a Marine Admiral and one who has been labeled to be a monster on various occasions. He is a user of the Paramecia type Zushi Zushi no Mi, which lets him control gravity.
He is extremely powerful and one of the strongest alive at the moment. Zoro, while strong, is not on his level at the moment.
8Kizaru
Another one of the Three Admirals, Kizaru is an exceptionally overpowered character. Much of that is down tohis Devil Fruit, the Pika Pika no Mi, which allows him to turn into light itself.
Kizaru is one of the fastest in the world and is a fairly balanced fighter. He is levels above Zoro at the moment and it will take time for the Straw Hat swordsman to reach that level.
7Kuzan
Kuzan is one of the former Navy Admirals. Currently, he is the 10th ship captain of the Blackbeard Pirates. He is an extremely powerful fighter who excels in the usage of his Hie Hie no Mi power, which is a logia ability that allows him to turn into as well as manipulate ice at will.
Furthermore, his Haki is immensely powerful and fans know for a fact that he can fight against even the strongest characters, such as Garp. Surely, Kuzan is stronger than Zoro at the moment and can defeat him.
6Mihawk
Mihawk is the World’s Strongest Swordsman and the person that Zoro believes to be his goal. Mihawk possesses tremendous skill that Zoro cannot match at the moment. Although the Straw Hat Swordsman, especially in his King Of Hell form, is very powerful, he still cannot best Mihawk.

Much of that is down to the fact that he cannot keep his newfound powers up for long and his Haki is not as refined.
5Sakazuki
Sakazuki is the current Navy Fleet Admiraland the man believed to hold one of the highest offensive powers in the One Piece world. His Magu Magu no Mi allows him to become a magma man and control this power freely.
He was even able to fight against Whitebeard in the Paramount War and, since then, he has likely only gotten stronger. At the moment, he can easily beat King of Hell Zoro.
4Blackbeard
Blackbeard is one of the Four Emperors of the Sea and he has a bounty of 3.996 billion berries on his head. Blackbeard possesses the two strongest Devil Fruits of the Logia and Paramecia class.
He can produce quakes with which he can destroy the world, and he controls darkness, which sucks in everything, including light. Blackbeard is very overpowered andcertainly levels above King of Hell Zoro.
3Luffy
Luffy is the captain of the Straw Hat Pirates and, in terms of strength, he is, obviously, above Zoro. If, hypothetically, these two characters were to fight, Luffy would easily come out on top.
His Gear 5 powers are way too ridiculous for Zoro to contend with. He was able to defeat Kaido with his powers and Zoro is not much of a challenge in comparison, despite having the King of Hell form.
2Shanks
Shanks is one of the Four Emperors of the Seaand quite easily one of the strongest in the world right now. He has a bounty of 4.0489 billion berries, which is also the highest active known bounty at the moment, after the fall of Big Mom and Kaido.
Shanks is incredibly overpowered. He was able to take down both Kid and Killer, pirates worth over 3 billion berries combined, in a single swing of his sword. For him, beating King of Hell Zoro would be quite easy.
1Monkey D. Dragon
The leader of the Revolutionary Army, Monkey D. Dragonis the World’s Worst Criminal. Dragon has not shown his strength at the moment. However, in the past, he vowed to create an organization strong enough to rival the World Government. Given that he’s at the top of this organization, Dragon has to hold enough power to change the entire world.
That automatically suggests that Dragon holds tremendous power up his sleeve. He is certainly much stronger than Zoro and could easily defeat him if the two were to ever trade blows.
