Summary
The Blackbeard Pirates are one of the four crews that are led by a Yonko. The crew came into existence sometime after Blackbeard killed Thatch. Initially, the crew had only five members, but they bolstered their ranks with new recruits from Impel Down.The Blackbeard Pirates havevery lofty ambitions, and achieving them won’t be easy at all.
So, they need all the help that they can get. The story is in its final stretch, but there is still a possibility that the Blackbeard Pirates might recruit even more people. With that in mind, here are all the characters who might end up joining Blackbeard’s crew in the near future.
5Caribou
A Fan Of Blackbeard
Caribou is a character who has been traveling with the Straw Hat Pirates for a long time. He is an opportunist who has been biding his time, waiting for his chance to shine. Caribou finally got his opportunityin the Egghead Island arc. After the Blackbeard Pirates arrived on the island, Caribou wasted no time in approaching Catarina Devon and asking her to take him along.
Normally, the Blackbeard Pirates are only interested in strong Devil Fruit users. But there is a good chance that Devon and Van Augur will take him along. This is mainly because Caribou possesses a lot of sensitive information about things that Blackbeard may be interested in. For instance, if he tells him about Pluton’s location, there is very little reason for Blackbeard not to welcome him onboard.
4Donquixote Doflamingo
A Fallen Celestial Dragon Seeking Revenge
Doflamingo is the former king of Dressrosa. He ruled the country for a long time, until Luffy came in and beat him up. Blackbeard and Doflamingo have a few things in common. For starters, they are both cruel. Doflamingo’s past is filled with several examples of his cruelty. Not only did he kill his father, but also his brother. Doflamingo views others as tools to further his own goals. He doesn’t care about the well-being of other people. As long as he is getting something out of it, he won’t complain.
Currently, Doflamingo is locked inside Impel Down, with Magellan protecting him.The World Government wantsto eliminate him, and it has to do with the fact that he knows about Marijoa’s treasure. Previously, Blackbeard couldn’t have entered Marijoa, but with Devon gaining the power to morph into Saturn, it will now be a walk in the park for him. Using the same strategy, Blackbeard could help free Doflamingo in exchange for information about Marijoa’s treasure.
3Hody Jones/ Vander Decken
Both Ostracized By Their Own Race
Hody Jones is a character whose mind is filled with racist ideologies. He was the main antagonist of the Fishman Island arc. Hody Jones used his ideas to sway other Fish-Men who had suffered at the hands of humans. He wanted them tostay away from humans, and he went to great lengths to ensure that there was never going to be any harmony between the two races.
Normally, he would not work for a human, but a good incentive from Blackbeard could change his mind. Vander Decken IX, on the other hand, does not have any prejudices about humans. He was mainly motivated by his desire to marry Shirahoshi. If Blackbeard travels to Fish-Man Island, then it is possible that he will free both of them, and they might join his crew.
2Shiki
Becoming Relevant Again
Shiki used to be a member of the Rocks Pirates. He stayed with the crew until its abandonmentafter the God Valley Incident. Shiki went on to start his crew and named it the Golden Lion Pirates. In a short period, Shiki was able to achieve a lot of fame in a very short time.
When it comes to strength, Shiki was able to go up against both Garp and Sengoku at the same time. He even wounded the Vice Admiral, which is a big achievement for anyone. Shiki has been away from the story for a long time, but there is a possibility that he will come back before the series is over. So, he could easily join the Blackbeard Pirates, as he doesn’t have any qualms about forming an alliance to achieve a common goal. In the past, he had made the same offer to Roger, who rejected it, but Blackbeard would be more than happy to welcome him on board.
1Kuro
Coming Back Into The Fray
Kuro is the captain of the Black Cat Pirates. He was the main antagonist of the Syrup Village. He had faked his own death in order to trick the Marines and the rest of the world. Kuro made a plan to become a servant for Kaya’s family, after which he waited for a chance to strike.
Unfortunately for him, the Straw Hat Pirates arrived on the island and exposed his true nature to everyone. Kuro fought against Luffy, but he could not win. Ultimately, Kuro was thrown out along with the rest of his crew. His current whereabouts remain unknown, but it seems that the Marines are aware of his presence, which is why they reactivated his Bounty. While Kuro does not have a powerful Devil Fruit, he is undoubtedly one of the smartest people in One Piece. Someone like him could provide Blackbeard with valuable strategies that would help the Yonko achieve his goals even quicker.
