Outridersrecently patched an exploit that allowed players to farm Legendary gear much faster than intended.Outridersplayers could generate up to ten Legendariesin about an hour by utilizing the Monster Hunt quests. While that has been patched and is no longer a working exploit,Outridersplayers have found another way to get unlimited Legendaries.
Players that are missing Legendary weapon mods may find this trick helpful to grab a few Legendaries they may not already own, or get a head start on Legendary mods for their other characters. Players will need at least two people to make this trick work. One player will need to have already completed theOutriderscampaign, they will be the host and will load up three missions that drop guaranteed Legendaries on their first character completion.

This trick will only grant Legendaries on the first completion per character, the player who has already finished themainOutriderscampaignwill have already earned the guaranteed Legendaries from these fights and will not earn them again. Players looking to get these Legendaries will need to create new characters for each run and then deposit the awarded Legendaries into their Stash to delete them on the player’s main characters.
The player who has already finished theOutriderscampaign will need to be the host for the lobby. The player getting the Legendaries will need to make a new character, skip the prologue, and then join in on their host who has already completed the campaign. From here, the host will control the rest of the setup. The host will need to drop theWorld Tier to level onefor the duration of this farm.
The host will change the Story Point to Forest Enclave and select “Track Down the Chrysaloid.” Load the point and start the fight. The host should be able toquickly kill theOutridersbosshere, granting a Legendary to each member in the party who has not already completed the mission. From here, the host will need to return the party to the main lobby for the second Story Point.
The second Story Point to load will be at Utargak; select the “Rescue Your Crew” mission. Players will want to make their way towards the pillar to start the first Yagak Fight. The host will quickly kill Yagak, spawning the chest for players to open. This chest also grants a guaranteed Legendary for characters who have not yet completed this fight. Have the hostreturn the team to theOutriderslobbyto load the last Story Point in this farm.
The last Story Point is The Caravel, the host will want to pick the “Defeat Yagak” mission. Doing the same thing as the previous missions, the host will quickly defeat Yagak in both phases. Once Yagak is defeated,players will hit theOutridersend credits screen. The important part here is that the host is the first person to skip the end credits. If the host cannot skip the credits for any reason, the host will want to close their game.
When the host closes their game, the other players in the lobby will try resolving the connection to the host. When reconnecting to the host is unsuccessful,Outriderswill recreate a lobby and load the remaining players into theOutridersCamp where they can open the final chest and claim the last Legendary. Players will need to move their Legendaries into their stash to be picked up and dismantled by their main characters to get the mods.
Players can then return to the lobby and create a new character and start the farm over again. Since the host gets nothing of value out of this farm, it is a good idea to rotate who is the host so everyone involved can benefit from this trick. Another thing to note is that this farm seems to be locked to the Legendaries that were available in theOutridersdemo. Because of that, this is not a good farm for Legendary Armor. Unfortunately,thisOutridersfarm cannot be done solo, so players will need to find people to do this with.
