Though most of the really special pre-order goodies are exclusive to theCollector’s EditionofWitch Queen, even the digital version comes with a few desirable exclusive cosmetics.
It’s also worth remembering that placing a pre-order onDestiny 2: The Witch QueenDeluxe Edition will include a full year’s worth of content at a considerable discount. Namely, purchasing theWitch QueenDLC and its four subsequent seasons piecemeal, as well as the extrapaid dungeons that are new toDestiny 2, would end up costing a player more than getting the Deluxe Edition of this DLC.
Of course, this is also great news forBungie’s new owner, Sony Interactive Entertainment. The so-called Project Spartacus - a rumored Game Pass competitor from Sony - may well featureDestiny 2as its flagship offering. Especially now that Microsoft is looking to own Activision Blizzard and bring its full lineup ofCall of Dutygames to Game Pass.
