A company profile of CD Projekt Red aired on German TV, giving fans over a minute of new in-game footage ofCyberpunk 2077.
Cyberpunk 2077was supposed to release at the end of this week, but to the disappointment of countless fans, CD Projekt Red announced in late October that the game would be delayed to December 10. CD Projekt Red’s marketing team went silent for about a week following the announcement, likely to take time to regroup and reassess their new strategy going into December. That silence ended last week, when the developer released aRun the Jewels single that will be featured inCyberpunk 2077and set the date for the next Night City Wire. Now, thanks to a German profile of CD Projekt Red, over a minute of newCyberpunk 2077footage has also been released.

The new footage shows several locations and characters that have been seen in prior gameplay videos, albeit from different angles. That includes several shots of Night City’s grimy streets and markets, a few different nightclubs, several familiar characters, andJohnny Silverhandrelaxing in a diner with his feet up on the table. The brief video also gave fans a look at one new character and a glimpse of the customization menu.
The new character can be seen 10 seconds into the video, wearing a pair of stylish shades and what appears to be a leather jacket vest decorated with studs. The character’s gold chain necklaces and cyberware seem to suggest that he is a member of theValentinos gang. The Valentinos occupy the Heywood area of Night City and are known for holding drag races and dealing in narcotics. The character’s clothing and jewelry hints that he may play an important role in the gang.
Perhaps more interesting is the few seconds of footage of the game’scustomization menuseen at the 44-second mark. Four different hairstyles are shown on the male V, including a crew cut, a Mohawk, a bun, and the traditional haircut that has been commonly seen on the male V in ads and trailers. Each hairstyle gives V a unique appearance, and they are likely just a few of the hair options available inCyberpunk 2077’s customization menu.
Another customization aspect that was shown was changing V’s teeth. The footage shows V’s teeth being changed from plain white to metallic, adding another unique layer of customization that is usually not seen in other games. The news thatplayers will be able to customize V’s teethjust surfaced a few days ago, but this is the first real, if brief, look at teeth customization that players have seen.
Cyberpunk 2077releases December 10 on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Stadia. The game will be backward compatible for the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
