It was only this past December that Square Enix confirmed thatNier: Automata, the action-RPG all about androids from director Yoko Taro and PlatinumGames, hadsurpassed 5 million salesworldwide. This was already an achievement worth celebrating, but now the publisher has revealed that, over the last couple of months, that number has shot up again and has now exceeded 5.5 million. There is a rumor going around that Nintendo might have had a major security breach, as manySwitchusers are reporting theiraccounts being accessed from other locations. Though these are just rumors and Nintendo hasn’t made any statement on it, there is some pretty substantial evidence. Yesterday, the schedule for this year’s Tokyo Game Show, which will be held as an online event due to the coronavirus pandemic, was revealed. Many of the usual suspects will be in attendance,including Capcom, Sega, and Square Enix, but, surprisingly,Microsoftwill be opening the event with a near hour long presentation.
