As in many games where crafting is a big part of the gameplay,Palworldrequires you to melt ore to get some ingots. The furnace itself is easy to build, but how to use it is not obvious at first. But for you to use it, you need to find a Kindling Pal with the ability to make a fire for your furnace.

How to Find a Kindling Pal in Palworld

Palworldhas a lot of Pals with kindling abilities, but at the beginning of the game, you will have a hard time finding and catching one of them. However,Foxpark is a low-level Pal, so you feel free to start looking for it in the early stages of the game. If you’re not far from the starting location, you won’t have to search for it for long because you have to go to the ruins near thePlateau of Beginnings fast travel point. There you have to pass by the Expedition Survivor and go to the ruins. There you will see a waterfall where you will find Foxparks. To make it easier to capture, you can wait until night, as Foxparks are sleeping at this time.

How to Craft and Use Smelter

To get a smelter, you can build a Primitive Furnace. You can craft it from the following materials:

Wood and stone are naturally straightforward to get, butFlame Organ is a material that drops out of fire-type Palssuch as Foxparks, Rooby, or Arsox.

After you build the furnace, you will be able to produce various materials, including ingots. However, the process will not start because you need the help of the Kindling Pal. Go to the Palbox Management Menu and drag Foxpark or another fire-type pal from the box to the Pals at the base section. After that, the pal will immediately appear and run to the furnace to melt your ingots. If your pal is already busy with something, like cooking, you can assign it to work by simply picking it up and throwing it into the furnace. If you did everything correctly, a message will appear on the left side of the screen saying that Pal has been assigned to the structure.
