Rotom
The Rotom Pokemon was first introduced in generation 4 as a monster that can change form. Returning as a gift from mom in the game, the Rotom inPokemon Scarlet & Violethas some customization options available in the form of new cases. There are four cases available for players who have played previousPokemongames on their Nintendo Switch. Below are the four cases and the respective save files required to unlock them:
Obtain Save File Cases
To get the Rotom cases, players must speak to the lady on the steps in Mesagoza. She will say that the phone cases reveal past lives and then offer each correlating phone case providing save data is on the Switch console.

There is another way to spruce up the Rotom phone inPokemonScarlet and Violet. Mesagoza is the biggest city in the game and has a huge variety of shops. Pick up some new clothes, accessories, or even a new hat to customize the in-game avatars.

Visit the store by walking up to the front door to find a selection of brand-new cases. Each one can bepurchased using in-game currencyand will give the Rotom a whole new look.

How To Equip Rotom Cases
Players wondering how to equip their newly unlocked or newly purchased case for the Rotom phone should first press Left on the D-Pad. After the menu pops up, go overpast the other customization optionsto the Rotom phone icon and select the case required.
Once the correct case has been selected, press A to try it on the phone. To keep the currently selected case, press the B button to go back, and then when asked to go with the current outfit, select Yes.
The new case will be applied to the Rotom and viewable in cutscenes, and anytime the player has the phone out in the over world.
