Summary
APokemonfan has recently crafted a lovely Eternatus crochet. ThePokemoncommunity is filled with talented people who often use their skills to celebrate the franchise, which includes creating plushes, crochet, paintings, fan art, and more, and this work stands out because of its high quality.
Eternatus is a legendary Poison/Dragon-type creature originally introduced inthe eighth generation ofPokemongames. Often considered among the most memorable critters inPokemon Sword and Shielddue to its unique appearance, Eternatus has a rare dual-type combination, which is only shared by Dragalge and Naganadel. The Pokemon does not evolve but has an unobtainable special form that can be fought inSword and Shield’s climax called Eternamax Eternatus.

Now, aPokemonplayer called pokemoncrochet has shared an adorable Eternatus crochet in r/pokemon, delighting fellow fans. Pokemoncrochet shared a 32-second video of their creation, which shows the Poison/Dragon-type crochet doll spinning on a thread like it’s flying. Overall, it’s solid work that looks amazing, as it greatly resembles the original draconic creature while still being pretty cute. Unfortunately, the artist will not likely create Eternatus’ Eternamax form, as they revealed in the post’s comments that they will probably be focusing on new critters instead.
Eternatus Crochet Delights Pokemon Fans
In their post, Pokemoncrochet also revealed that they are currently working on crocheting every single Pokemon. While this is certainly an ambitious plan, it’s not as uncommon as it might sound. A few years ago, for example, anotherfan started to crochet every Pokemon, sharing the adorable results with the community online. The collection shared by the fan had monsters like Togepi, Gengar, Squirtle, Mew, Torchic, Staryu, and others.
Among the manyPokemoncrochet dolls shared with the community, some stand out. A recent example is onePokemonfan who crocheted the Johto startersearlier this month. The creator recreated Chikorita, Cyndaquil, and Totodile in detailed dolls with vivid colors.
Another recent creation that stands out is acrochet Starmie made by aPokemonfan. This work managed to perfectly capture the Pokemon’s appearance, making the figurine look as flexible as the real Starmie. Fans will likely continue to crochet even more creatures soon, as fan-madePokemondolls are quite popular among the community. With the release ofPokemon Legends: Z-Ain 2025, the fanbase will have even more creatures to be inspired by when devising more crocheted dolls, possibly including some new legendary creatures like the mighty Eternatus.
