Pokemon GOis over six years old at this point, and one of the reasons why Niantic has been able to keep fans engaged with the augmented reality mobile game for the long-term is by the constant stream of new content that’s added to the title.Pokemon GOis regularly hosting special events and adding new Pokemon for dedicated trainers to catch, with the next event set to add three new Pokemon to the game.

The Hisuian forms of Growlithe, Qwilfish, and Sneasel aren’t the first Hisuian Pokemon to appear inPokemon GO. As a matter of fact,Hisuian Voltorband Hisuian Electrode were both added toPokemon GOearlier this year. For those that missed out on Hisuian Voltorb, the good news is that it will also be appearing in the wild as part of the Hisuian Discoveries event.

Besides catching the Hisuian Pokemon in the wild,Pokemon GOplayers will also have the chance to hatch them from eggs. While the Hisuian Discoveries event is live,Pokemon GO7km eggswill feature Hisuian Growlithe, Hisuian Voltorb, Hisuian Qwilfish, and Hisuian Sneasel, which should go a long way in helping players complete their collection of Hisuian Pokemon - especially since the evolved forms of these Pokemon will likely be introduced as part of the event as well, though that wasn’t specified in Niantic’s announcement.

Hisuian Growlithe evolves into Hisuian Arcanine, while Hisuian Voltorb evolves into Hisuian Electrode.Hisuian Qwilfish, meanwhile, evolves into Overqwil, a Dark/Poison-type Pokemon that didn’t exist prior toPokemon Legends: Arceus. Hisuian Sneasel, meanwhile, evolves into Sneasler, and like Overqwil, Sneasler did not exist in thePokemongames until the release ofPokemon Legends: Arceus.

Niantic has not been consistent when it comes toPokemon GOPokemon evolutions, sometimes releasing Pokemon without their evolutions be available, but there’s no reason to assume that this will be the case with the Hisuian Discoveries event. Fans will just have to wait for the event to go live to find out.
