SomePokemon GOplayers believe this Route may be helpful while waiting out a thunderstorm or cooling down from warm weather as well.
A few players in thePokemon GOcommunity are not as receptive to this Route due to technical issues they’ve faced while trying to create their own, however. For example, Reddit user BRod_Angel waited nearly four months for their Route to be checked by Niantic before it was ultimately rejected. Others received warnings for violating Niantic’s rules regarding Routes, andsome features preventedPokemon GOplayers from accessing Routesentirely.
Although the grocery store Route is convenient for players wanting to quickly completePokemon GO’slatest Field Research tasks, it highlights the lingering problems associated with the feature. Some players are unable to successfully create Routes that follow Niantic’s guidelines, despite being in an adequate area that encourages safe exploration. The grocery store seems to be an exception to Niantic’s rules, causing players to further question the feature’s implementation.
