A Redditor going by the name itsmeesprit shared an image featuring their Shiny versions of Lechonk, Smoliv, and Pawmi. For Lechonk, the user reversed the color of its body with the tones of its feet and snout, making the pig mostly pink. Smoliv was given much darker colors, with its main body now being black while its bulb takes on very dark red hues. The Grass/Normal-Type’s leaves were left their original green color. Finally, Pawmi was transformed from orange to mostly white. It’s feet, tail, and mouth were all changed to red, though its cheeks and the inside of its ears stayed the same.
Itsmeesprit explained that since Iberian pigs, the animals Lechonk seems to be based off of, are black, they felt it would be cool if the Pokemon’s Shiny coloring was the same pink color as most other pig breeds. For thePokemon Smoliv, the body represents black olives while the bulb represents red olives. Finally, for Pawmi, the artist wanted to make it white and red, but says it now looks like the reversed palette of its regular form.
The Shiny palettes that itsmeesprit came up with have garnered a number of fans, with all three of the designs getting some love. Some commenters stated that they hope these end up the official Shiny colors inPokemon Scarlet and Violet, with one user mentioning that they would hunt for them, especially Smoliv.
These are not the only Shiny variants that itsmeesprit has come up with for Pokemon premiering inScarlet and Violet. The artist also came up withShiny versions of the three starters. Sprigatito was changed to all pink with its ears, face, and neck fur consisting of a darker shade while its eyes became green. Fuecoco was changed to mostly yellow with the patches on its stomach and tail changing to black. Quaxly stayed similar to its base form as it is still blue and white, with the changes being in its eyes and beak. The Shiny variants that itsmeesprit came up with are impressive and could easily pass for the real thing.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violetwill release on November 18 for the Nintendo Switch.
