Over the years, theRed Dead Onlinecommunity has had a lot of fun creating interesting characters in the game. Some are fictional, while some are pulled from reality. Regardless, the freedom that the character creator allows is brilliant. OneRed Dead Onlineplayer even dressed as Abraham Lincolnbefore being shot in the back of the head. By allowing players this level of freedom, it allows the players to use their imaginations to create even more fun for themselves.

Redditor A_rthurs shared their creation with the game’s online community, and there is definitely a strong resemblance to Norman Reedus' character. Thecustomization inRed Dead Onlinehas allowed the player to give their character Dixon’s iconic leather vest, and they’ve been able to customize their character to the point where fans of the series can instantly tell who it is supposed to be. Despite the difference in time periods, Daryl Dixon doesn’t look too out of place either, so he’s a good choice for others to recreate if they want a period-accurate character.
SinceThe Walking Deadpremiered back in 2010, Daryl Dixon became an instant fan-favorite among the community, and it’s clear that his legacy endures to this day. He was so popular, that aDaryl DixonWalking Deadspinoff is in development, with Norman Reedus returning to the lead role once more. Considering the character was never included in the originalWalking Deadcomics, he’s left an impressive mark on pop culture. He’s appeared in other video games, too, with a role inPUBG Mobileadding Daryl as an optional character back in 2019.
Hopefully gamers continue to createfun custom characters inRed Dead Online. The game has been somewhat abandoned by Rockstar, withGTA Onlinesimply a more profitable endeavor to pursue. It’s been a long time since any actual new content, and there has been no indication of that changing any time soon. The end result has been a game filled with hackers, and many players turning away from the game. It would be a massive shame forRed Dead Onlineto die completely, but community creations like this definitely serve to keep the game alive for longer.
