In a livestream, fans can watch the voice actors ofRed Dead Redemption 2reunite to play its online multiplayer mode,Red Dead Online. Part of the stream isBenjamin Byron Davies who plays not one, but two important characters in theRed Dead Redemptionseries.
As part of a GameSpot charity stream aiming to raise money for Black Lives Matter and COVID-19 support organizations, three voice actors fromRed Dead Redemption 2got together to be a part of the fun. Part of the stream was Benjamin Byron Davies who voices Dutch van der Linde, Alex McKenna who voice Sadie Adler, and Roger Clark who voices Arthur Morgan. Not only is it good fun to watch the actors enjoy the game that they starred in, but fans could also get a thank you from them for donating to good causes.

Over the two-hour-long stream, fans were able to watch the actors crack jokes, celebrate each other’s work and answer questions about the game they famously star in. Asked what effectRed Dead Redemption 2had on the actor’s lives, McKenna spoke about how she and her castmates spent five years working on the game and “hours upon hours” doing full motion-capture together. WhileDutch’s gang is a close-knit group, McKenna says that in real-life, her castmates are her “family”.
McKenna also revealed that it was two years before she learned that she was working onRed Dead Redemption 2. While she knew early on that the game was a Western, she felt that it was probably “safer” for her to not try to figure out what the game was until it became “pertinent” to how she was going to play Sadie Adler. While there have been someRockstar Games leaks about its next project, the secrecy surrounding the production and the efforts that actors go to is likely why the developer’s plans are able to be kept under wraps.
It’s unclear if fans can expect theRed Dead Redemption 2cast members to reunite for another game in the series. Rockstar Games co-founder Dan Houser said thatRed Dead Redemption 3is possible ifRed Dead Redemption 2sold welland this was before the game sold 29 million copies.
It could be a while until a third game is released though. Rockstar Games isrumored to be developingGrand Theft Auto 6and it will also be bringingGrand Theft Auto Vto PS5 and Xbox Series X next year, which may mean that a newRed Dead Redemptioncould be many years away.
Red Dead Redemption 2is available now for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
