Storage is one ofthe new additions to the remakeofResident Evil 4. Previously, the player had only two choices when it came to extra items: Selling them to the Merchant or discarding them. But in the new game, they have an alternative:Storing excessive weapons and items in the storage.

In theRE4remake, the way the storing feature work is that it adds to your attaché case capacity. But the catch is that it’s only accessible via typewriters. Think of it as a safe deposit to keep valuables.

How to Restore Items from the Storage

Note that there must be enough space in the case, or else the stored item won’t return to the inventory.

What Items Can Be Stored in the Storage

The best way to get rid of edibles and bullets is by selling them to the Merchant. Equipthe Rhinoceros Beetle charmto double these items’ prices and make more money off them.

What to Do with Items That Can’t Be Stored

The player has two options for handling redundant items that can’t be stored: They will either need to sell them to the Merchant or discard them. The former method is straightforward. Go to the Sell section of the Merchant and cash in on any unused item. For the latter method, discarding items, open the attaché case, move extra items to the box on the right, and close it. This will discard them right away.
