Summary
Over the last decade or so, leaks and rumors have become much more prolific in the video game space. While big-budget releases have always been destined to suffer a few minor leaks, it’s now become a staple of the industry that manyhigh-budget AAA gameswill have their plots, characters, and gameplay features leaked long before the game releases, and often even long before the game has even been announced. That’s certainly been the case withResident Evil 9, too.
Not even announced yet in any official capacity at all,Resident Evil 9has allegedly suffered a plethora of leaks over the last two years. From leaks surrounding returning protagonists, new monsters and villains, the game’s setting, and anything in between, almost every facet ofResident Evil 9has been ruminated on already. Whether these rumors are true or not remains to be seen.

All leaks and rumors about to be discussed should be taken with a huge pinch of salt, especially as several leaks have contradicted one another over the years.
