Version 4.6 ofGenshin Impactis scheduled to add a significant amount of evergreen content: Arlecchino, two Artifact Sets, a weekly boss, the subterranean zone of Remuria, and two Story Quests. The recipients of these Story Quests are Arlecchino and Cyno, with the latter being a welcome surprise. Players have always consideredCyno inGenshin Impactto be one of its most intriguing characters, with plenty of untapped lore to be explored. Moreover, his particular brand of humor has further endeared him to the community, even if Tighnari might strongly feel otherwise.
Sethos is expected to make his first appearance as acharacter related to Cyno inGenshin ImpactVersion 4.6, though the exact nature of their relationship remains unknown. However,according to Mero, one of the most reliable voices when it comes toGenshin Impactleaks, Sethos will become a playable character before the release of Natlan. Unfortunately, this could come at the price of Emilie being moved out of the Fontaine patch cycle entirely, as she is now missing from the latest banner data. Though there is a possibility that Emilie will feature as a playable character prior to Version 5.0, the current situation strongly implies a delay.
Upcoming Genshin Impact Banner Characters
Sethos will be a Bow character of an unknown rarity and an unknown element. His concept art depicts him as a medium male model with white hair and desert clothing, but his final model lacks the cat ears from Sethos' earlier design. Given that thenew Artifact Set inGenshin ImpactVersion 4.6buffs the Burning Elemental Reaction, players are hoping that Sethos will be a Dendro 4-Star support for Cyno. Curiously, Dendro is still missing an element applicator like Xingqiu or Yelan, and this could potentially be a valuable niche that Sethos could provide.
Earlier speculation had pegged the Burning Artifact Set as being tailor-made for Emilie, but the recent information about the remaining banner characters puts a great damper on that theory. In addition to Sethos,Genshin Impactwill add Clorinde and Sigewinne over the course of Version 4.7 and Version 4.8 – though the exact order and character pairings on the Event Banners remain unconfirmed.
