Sandberg shared the video on his official Twitter account and wrote, “Doing my own stunts.” When the film was released, some keen-eyed DC fans spotted the director in one of the sequences and even pointed it out on social media. TheShazam 2behind-the-scenes video that Sandberg sharedconfirms his cameo during one of the fight sequences. Shot in front of a blue screen in some field, the scene involves several people running away from a threat. Sandberg, however, gets picked up by a stunt wire toward the end of the video, which correlates to the scene in question.

The day he filmed hisShazam 2cameo, Sandberg’s wife, Lotta Losten, was in charge. She shared some behind-the-scenes images on her own Twitter account and revealed that “it was such a fun day on set, everyone seemed so excited to get to see their boss do stunts and be in front of the camera for once.” The images show some team members securing the stunt wires, Sandberg performing the stunt, and then checking the cameras to approve of it.

Shazam! Fury of the Godsis the sequel to the hit 2019Shazam!, which brought Zachary Levi’s hero into the DC Universe. However, theShazam 2was released to underwhelming box office numbersand fell severely short of fan expectations. The film had even shifted its release date to avoid competition with the record-breakingAvatar: The Way of Water, but it could not win the hearts of the critics.
