It has been over ten years since the release ofThe Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim, but fans continue to play it to this day.Skyrimprobably gets a new set of fans every time Bethesda re-releases the game, and there are even rumors ofSkyrim Anniversary Editioncoming to the Nintendo Switch.

The extensive mods have probably contributed to its popularity over the years, as they allow players to completely change and customize their gameplay experience. Users can change just about anything with the help of mods, with one fan transformingSkyrimto make it look like real life. A user named Not_COPPA_FTCA has uploaded a clip of a heavily modded intro toThe Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim. For those not in the know, the main character is about to be executed in the game’s opening sequence, along with some characters key to the story. However, a dragon attack interrupts their execution, allowing players to flee Helgen and reacha small town called Riverwood.

It opens with the main character looking at a Stormtrooper from theStar Warsuniverse, but that’s probably the least unusual thing in the clip. Alduin appears on time to attack Helgen, but Not_COPPA_FTCA usesa mod that replaces dragons with Macho Man Randy Savage. Instead of being intimidating and scary, Randy Savage shouts with excitement as the Stormtroopers attempt to hilariously fight with a bow and arrow.

Fans in the comments recognize other mods enabled in this clip. For example, it features Darth Vader’s iconic breathing and the sound from the pause menu ofGrand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Not_COPPA_FTCA mentions that they use a mod that adds “anti-immersive” sounds to theirSkyrimplaythrough, with other sounds also being present due to this mod. Some fans also mention hearingPlayStation’s startup soundright at the end.

One user calls this video PeakSkyrim, but others state that Not_COPPA_FTCA didn’t go far enough and encourage them to continue moddingSkyrim. On the other hand, many players appear disappointed at the lack of Thomas the Tank Engine in this video. Fans are modding Thomas into various other games, includingElden RingandCyberpunk 2077, with oneterrifying mod involving Lady Dimitrescu fromResident Evil Village.

The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim - Anniversary Editionis out now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
