Skyrimis not without its more perplexing moments, as one player notices that the game’s notoriously tenacious courier has somehow forgotten to put clothes on before heading out. Despite it being an immenselyimmersive open-world game,The Elder Scrolls 5is pretty infamous for some bizarre things that can occur when the Dragonborn is wandering around the province. Bethesda’s 2011 RPG may be one of the biggest releases in recent history, but it’s become something of a meme over the years due to its many bugs.
While some of the issues are a nuisance, there areSkyrimglitches that can actually be helpful, such as the popular bucket-over-the-head trick that allows the player to steal without repercussions. However, they are still bugs, and many are baffled that the title still has a bunch of them despite the developer re-releasing the game numerous times. Then there are those encounters which, intentional or not, get the community talking.

As a recent example of this, Reddit user petedems uploaded an image from theirSkyrimplaythrough which shows the game’s well-known courier standing in the middle of the street, minus his clothes. Given that the user doesn’t have any mods installed, they have turned to others to see if they can offer up any explanations. One commenter euphemistically said the NPC is simply there to deliver a “package,” while another theorizes that their dedication to letter delivery meant they must have been in the middle of something when they got the call.
User GiratinaTech says they once saw the messenger in Dragonscale Armor. In fact, other fans have reportedweird occurrences involvingSkyrim’s courier, with one player finding themselves being tracked down by the character while out for a swim. From a lore perspective, it seems they are just so keen to reach the Dragonborn that they’ll cross any obstacle to get the job done. But as a video game, it seems like this is just one of the many glitches that occur in the epic RPG. While this one spotted by petedems is harmless enough, it is part of an ongoing issue with the game.
While it’s likely to be along time beforeThe Elder Scrolls 6releases, fans of the fantasy series are keeping themselves busy withSkyrim. It may have a number of issues that many feel Bethesda should have ironed out by now, but at least they’re keeping the 11-year-old title alive in the community.
The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrimis available for PC, PS3, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
