One of the main features ofThe Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrimthat likely makes the title so immersive is how players can own their own residences in the game. With severallarge holds and cities acrossSkyrim’s Tamriel, players can have their pick of locations for their homes and even decorate the insides to some extent. Recently, aSkyrimfan showed off part of their house, particularly an amazing armory that showcases the player’s varied collection of armor sets, weapons, and gear.

In the base game, players can alreadyown and customize their homes inSkyrim. However, Bethesda expanded this feature through the action RPG’s 2012Hearthfirecontent expansion. Not only were more homes added to the game, but players were also allowed to adopt children in the DLC. What’s more, theSkyrimcommunity continually produces mods that fans can implement into their playthroughs, allowing them to take full control of customizing their personal residences for a truly immersive experience.

Sharing their amazing collection ofSkyrimweapons and armor, a Redditor with the username MumbleepegTheUglyPug posted a short video of what looks like the inside of their in-game home. The footage pans around a large room where many mannequins are on display, each wearing a different set of armor. The entire room’s walls are adorned with unique weapons and shields, with shield and weapon racks also occupied with a range of different items. According to the Redditor, theSkyrimgear they have on display comes from the different holds in the game, as well as some others that the original poster is planning to list for the thread’s readers.

Given the sheer size and customizability of the room, it seemed likely that MumbleepegTheUglyPug’sSkyrimhouse is a modded one. When asked by fellow Redditors, the original poster confirmed that they used the “Ilinalta House” mod to get the look and feel of their armory. Several comments on the thread complimented MumbleepegTheUglyPug’s work, while others who playSkyrimon other gaming platformssuch as Xbox 360 lamented the lack of flexible mods to improve their experience in-game.

WithSkyrimbeing over a decade old, such mods used by players like MumbleepegTheUglyPug are likely a big factor as to why the game has been relevant for so long. Not only is the community able to improve their playthrough with bug fixes, they are also able to customize their personalSkyrimexperiences in any way that they want to.
