Since Stadia launched as Google’s big foray into cloud-based gaming in late 2019, the platform has built up a solid roster of games over the 2+ years since its debut with more games frequently being added to the service. From popular indie games likeGamious’s laid-back simulation gameLaketo major AAA titles likeFar Cry 6andDestiny 2, the library of games available to play on Stadia has been growing with each passing month. Now, the Stadia team has officially unveiled a trio of titles from Paradox and Team17 set to hit Stadia this spring.
With theStadiateam revealing earlier that the platform is set to see over a hundred new games over the course of 2022, the gaming service has already seen plenty of new games announced to be arriving this year. Last week saw the announcement of indie space thrillerDeliver Us The Mooncoming to Stadia in April and recently welcomedDynasty Warriors 9: Empiresto its roster as the newest entry in the long-running hack-and-slash franchise. Now, the Stadia team announced thatCities: Skylines,Overcooked! All You Can Eat, andGolf With Your Friendsare coming to the platform.

The reveal posted on Wednesday morning officially confirmed the arrival of the three games to Stadia’s platform, with each receiving release dates for later this spring. Players on Stadia will be able topick up the popular city simulation gameCities: Skylinesin ‘spring’ of this year with both of Team 17’s inclusions scheduled for an unspecified release date in April. The games notably bring a variety of genres withOvercookedandGolf With Your Friendsbringing multiplayer experiences to the platform whileCities: Skylinesoffers a more in-depth single-player experience.
While Stadia has seen its share of trials and tribulations over the two years since the platform has launched, Google has continued to improve on the service throughout Stadia’s lifespan. Last year saw the long-requested addition of aSearch bar to the Stadia websiteallowing players to search for specific games and the platform’s library of games has steadily grown since its launch. While Stadia may not have been the hit Google was hoping for following the service’s launch, the platform has continued to see improvements and will likely see plenty more into the future.
