It goes without saying thatGoogle Stadiahasn’t had the best time since its debut late last year. A number of severe issues with the streaming service, including latency problems and a handful of other technical mishaps, have meant that fans really haven’t taken to Stadia as Google no doubt would hope. Alongside its technical downfalls, another of its biggest issues is its incredibly lackluster lineup, which was accidentally put on blast by none other than Google itself in a recent tweet.

Posted onStadia’s Twitter page, it appears the streaming console was attempting to engage its community in a fun game that would no doubt attempt to highlight the diversity of its library of games. The tweet encouraged players to “spell [their] name using only video game titles,” with Google starting by spelling Stadia using titles from its own lineup, including the likes ofDoom EternalandAssassin’s Creed Odyssey.

Little did the company know that the post would backfire tremendously, with the console itself even having to admit that there was not a single game in the entire of its lineup that could fill the “I” spot in Stadia. When Google can’t even spell its own, short console name with video game titles, it’s clear its library is far from loaded with games.Twitterimmediately latched onto the post, replying with a number of hilarious messages that looked to mock the service’s small variety of titles.

One commenter gained over 5,000 likes for tweeting “damn you got the whole stadia library in one tweet,” referring to the five games Google used to spell Stadia, while another performed the task by writing “S-tadia T-anked A-nd D-oomed I-tself A-ccumulatively.” A final player mused “when you only have 30 games and none of them start with I.” Evidently,Google Stadia’s lackluster lineup of gameshas become something of a meme within its community, with a number of commenters taking to Twitter to join in on the gag.

Google itself is far from unaware of Stadia’s lackluster offerings of games right now, with the company slowly attempting to build up its core library with titles likeThe Division 2and theSteamworld Digfranchise. Yet, it appears the true reason behindStadia’s poor lineup is the fact it’s not offering game developers enough money, with an indie developer recently revealing that there’s not a strong enough financial incentive to hop aboard the streaming platform. With over 120 games meant to launch by the end of 2020, here’s to hoping Stadia’s lineup is far more stacked by the end of the year.
