How to Build a Cabin in Stardew Valley

InStardew Valley, cabins can be built on the farmto play with friends. Each cabin can accommodate one player, and up to seven cabins can be built in total, allowing eight gamers to play together. If a user has created a new server to play with friends, the cabin will be built for free, but if not, fans will need to construct it by spending some money.

Robin’s Carpenter Shop

First, players need to visit Robin’s Carpenter Shop, which is open from 9 AM to 5 PM.

Resources for Cabins

Although players can choose the design of the cabins, they all cost the same, namely 100 Gold. Below are all the possible cabin options you can build for your friends:

Construct Farm Buildings

When players enter Robin’s Carpenter Shop, talk to the lady behind the shop counter and select the Construct Farm Buildings option.

Choose Cabin

From the list of available buildings, select the Cabin. It will cost 100 Gold.

Placement

After selecting a cabin, players need to select a suitable location on their farm where they want to place the cabin. They can use the arrow keys to move the placement marker and press Enter to confirm the location.

How to Use the Cabin

After friends join the game, they can choose one of the available cabins to stay in; each player will have their cabin and can customize it to their taste. Players can interact with items in the cabin, store their belongings in chests, and sleep in the bed to regain energy and move on to the next day. An interesting feature of the cabins is that when a player who lived in the cabin leaves the game, all the inventory remains in a chest on the farm.

It’s also worth noting that players can paint their cabins once they upgrade them to level 3. To do this, you just need to visit the Carpenter’s Shop and select the Paint Buildings option. The best part is that painting your cabin is completely free.
