Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Originofficially comes out on March 18, but fans can also start playing the game from as early as March 15. Anyone who pre-orders thedigital version ofStranger of Paradisewill get access to the game three days earlier at midnight local time. Players can also choose to purchase the $90 Digital Deluxe edition, which comes with the Season Pass.
It seems like theaudience’s perception ofStranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Originhas shifted a bit over time. The original trailer was widely criticized for its graphics, and it also generated tons of memes due to the overuse of the word “chaos”. Still, many users praised the gameplay after the first demo started working properly, and there seems to be a lot of excitement leading up to its official release. Developer Team Ninja has now shared the system requirements forStranger of Paradise.

The official Twitter account ofStranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Originhas shared an image featuring the minimum and recommended list of requirements. Its description on the Epic Games Store states that the minimum requirements are designed with 30 FPS gameplay at 720p in mind, while the recommended settings are for 60 FPS at 1080p. Players will need an AMD Radeon RX 470 or the 6 GB variant of an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 at the minimum to run the game. The developer recommends that players have at least an AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT or an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER.
The GeForce GTX 1060 is still extremely popular, and most fans should not have any difficulty in meeting the minimum GPU requirements. For CPUs, AMD Ryzen 5 1400 and Ryzen 5 1600 are required for minimum and recommended settings respectively. Intel users should similarly have at least an i7-6700 for minimum and an i7-8700 to meet the recommended requirements. The only other difference between the two is 8 GB vs 16 GB of RAM. Surprisingly, it looks likeStranger of Paradisewill require 80 GB of space.
Being a Souls-like game, it’s probably impossible forFinal Fantasy Originto escape comparisons toElden Ring. However, fans can hope that the gameruns much better thanElden Ring, which is perhaps infamous for its performance issues on almost all platforms. The PC port ofNioh 2was generally well-received, and Team Ninja’s games also run well on consoles, so hopefully players will not encounter any problems.
