A major new leak is giving fans a preview of whatSuicide Squad: Kill the Justice League’s upcoming DLC will feature in Season 1 and beyond. Rocksteady’s latest DC Comics-based video game is different from theBatman: Arkhamseries in many ways, and the biggest is thatSuicide Squadfollows a live-service model that will add new content to the game in waves over time. This has garnered a divisive reaction from players, with some welcoming the prospect of getting more Arkhamverse content on a regular basis and others recalling failed ventures likeMarvel’s Avengers.
Nonetheless,Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice Leaguewill periodically add new playable characters, story missions, and other content, with the first batch coming in March. This will introduce an alternate universe version of the Joker that has been deliberately designed by Rocksteady to be vastlydifferent from the one in theBatman: Arkhamgames. There have been numerous leaks regarding what players can expect after that, with the recent one suggesting that Deathstroke, a female version of Mr. Freeze, and Killer Croc could be among the villains coming to Metropolis in the future.
A Reddit user by the handle ofArch_itect_recently shared a screenshot listing possible DLC forSuicide Squad: Kill the Justicefor Season 1and beyond on r/SuicideSquadGame. According to this list, which was supposedly pulled from the game’s files, Season 1 will add new customization items themed after characters like Two-Face, Ra’s Al Ghul, and Gentleman Ghost, with alternate costumes including Classic, Twitch Drop, and “Metallica” outfits for the Joker and Gentleman Ghost, Homemade Justice League, and Wayne Tech-themed ones for multiple characters. Bullet points for Season 2 mention some sort of “Brainiac Superman” boss fight, Firefly-themed Notorious Grenades, and what is described as Nora Freeze in a pod.
Villian Synergy Season 1-10
This newSuicide Squadleak supports past rumors that theJustice League members have survivedthe events of the main game, with one listed mission seemingly tasking players with protecting the Flash. Green Lantern and Batman are also named, and the leak notes that the heroes will come back in “interesting” ways. There will also be new unlockable Villian Synergies themed after iconic Arkhamverse villains, with Season 1’s appearing to be modeled after the Scarecrow. Season 2’s could reportedly take after Firefly, Season 3’s might be themed after Catwoman, Season 4’s could be inspired by Mr. Freeze, and Season 10’s apparently theming its leaked names after Ra’s Al Ghul.
According to the new leak,Suicide Squad’s DLC seasonswill also add various features like a Photo Mode and new in-game weather, such as thunderstorms and falling hail. Like all of the otherSuicide Squad: Kill the Justice Leagueleaks, none of the information featured here has been officially verified, so fans will have to wait and see what gets confirmed when the game’s Joker-centric Season 1 DLC launches in March.
