Sims will be invited to join their friends, neighbors, and family at all five of these festivals that cycle through every two weeks. Compete in challenges and group activities, learn unique recipes, purchase swag items, and win prizes at these weekly gatherings inThe Sims 4. Embark on the fascinating journey to explore the intricacies of each festival and rank them by the variety of activities and entertainment value.
5Spice Festival
Depending on two different, randomly-decided schedules, the Spice Festival will occur in the Spice Market district. From 5 PM to 1 AM, Sims can gather at the karaoke bar Waterside Warble and travel among the towering brownstone apartments to find a feast full of sizzling flavors. Enjoyspicy culturally inspired disheslike curry, burritos, and other exotic dishes to expand the Sims' palettes.
Sims who have built up a tolerance for spicy flavors should attempt the Spicy Curry Challenge to earn a fiery red T-shirt and a confident moodlet. Harvest fresh uncommon fruits, vegetables, and spices from produce stands or collect them straight from the garden. Cool off at the mini bar and relax at the bubble-blower stations.

Apart from its exciting atmosphere, this festival offers the least number of activities. Sims with the foodie trait or those who are hungry during the festival’s hours may find the Spice Festival enticing, but otherwise, the target crowd is relatively small. The chances are high that Sims who attempt the Spicy Curry Challenge will burn their mouths and become uncomfortable.
4Flea Market
On Sundays in the Spice Market district, Sims can shop on the streets and haggle for the best prices on Sundays from 10 AM to 6 PM. One Sim’s trash is another Sim’s treasure. Chat with local vendors and browse their gently used furniture and decorations at discounted prices. Rummage through cardboard boxes of junk peppered along the streets forCity Living exclusive collectibleslike snow globes and posters.
Ask vendors to trade for a better chance at uncommon or rare items. Visit food stalls with famous Asian, Indian, and Spanish dishes so Sims can grab a bite to eat while they shop. Have junk to get rid of? Find an empty display table or art stand and place items from the Sims' inventories to list for sale.

Once again, this festival is catered to a small audience. There are a few more activities to participate in than the Spice Festival, but not enough to keep it from the lower half of this ranking. Players who have just moved into a new home or apartment and are on a small budget could benefit from this festival. It is also advantageous to those completing challenges that limit household funds like Rags-To-Riches.
3Romance Festival
Come to the karaoke bar Planet Honey Pop in the Fashion District from 5 PM to 1 AM on Saturdays for some Sakura tea and join in on a celebration of love. The tea will put Sims in a flirty mood and give them the encouragement to mix, mingle, and make moves with festival-goers. Enjoy food stalls with Japanese dishes and swag booths with fireworks and other merchandise.
This festival is the perfect place for Sims to spend quality time with their partners and - if the timing is right -propose and get marriedonsite at the wedding arch. That is if the brutally honest Romance Guru deems the relationship worthy of such holy matrimony.

This festival combines all the good aspects of the previous festivals like opportunities for food, drinks, and gardening with a few great expansions like the Romance Guru, easels for flirty paintings, and swag stalls. While this NPC is a fun addition to the festival, it can also ruin the moment if the Guru says a relationship handmade by players is doomed. Sims and players alike with unflirty traits or those involved in the aromatic/asexual community may find this festival is one that they can easily skip.
2Humor & Hijinks Festival
Moving to the Arts Quarter of San Myshuno, Sims can meet at the Casbah Gallery art museum from 5 PM to 11 PM for a festival celebrating Sims' silly sides. First, choose between the Pranksters or the Jokesters team by consuming Light or Dark tea. Execute mischievous interactions to earn points for the Pranksters or funny interactions to help the Jokesters surge ahead.
Comedians can perform their best comedy routines on microphones around the festival grounds. Visit swag stalls for merchandise and fireworks to light up the night sky. The team that wins will achieve 500 simoleons, fireworks, and theirvery own voodoo dollto terrorize other Sims with.

Many players enjoy this festival purely because of its silly nature. The fireworks show at the end of the festival makes it the perfect way to celebrate the summerholidays inThe Sims 4. The point system encourages friendly (or not-so-friendly) competition. Unlike several other festivals, there are rewards offered at the end that Sims can team up and work towards. Anyone can participate in this festival, not just those that are hungry, flirtatious, or looking for a bargain.
1GeekCon
The festival that is most fitting and enticing to the Sims community is the one and only GeekCon. Why not celebrate a love for geeks and gaming at an in-game convention for geeks and gaming? From 10 AM to 4 PM near Planet Honey Pop in the Fashion District, cosplay famous movie and gaming characters like Darth Vader or Yoda. Build a rocket and explore space with friends without the hassle of having to purchase one.
Test video gaming skills at the Ultimate Gaming Test by playing games on computers, the Motion Gaming Rig, and gaming consoles to earn a high score. Those who enjoy the programming skill may find that Hackathon is more up their alley. Sims with higher skill levels will have a chance at winning the competition and earning themselves a new computer or a Future Cube. Even better, experience increased skill gain in gaming, programming, handiness, logic, and rocket science skills.

What’s not to like about GeekCon? Although it may appear to only be catered to gamers, it’s the exact category that players already find interesting. Sims can now gather with fellow geeks for food, drinks, swag, gaming, and team-building exercises all in one place. This festival builds upon the points system from the Humor & Hijinks festival, adding more participation and competition aspects to the mix. Geekcon also pairs well with theJourney To Batuu game packand those with Star Wars mods.
The Sims 4is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
