Summary
With Gaming officially out forGenshin Impactplayers, it’s time to break down his kit and understand where it is he shines and what he’s best at. He is actually a very flexible unit despite his damage coming almost entirely from his skill’s plunging attacks. He can slot into team comps ranging from Vaporize to Burgeon, one of the more recentGenshin Impactelemental reactions released alongside Dendro.
When it comes to leveling his talents, players should know that each one is worth the investment. However, the order in which they’re leveled may matter if players are tight on resources. His first priority talent should be his skill, since this is his main source of damage. Next should be his elemental burst, as this is also good damage but also a source of healing, similarly toGenshin Impact’s Hu Tao’s burst. Last but certainly not least would be his normal attacks.

Genshin Impact’s Gaming’s Kit
Gaming’s Build
Upon casting his elemental skill, Gaming bounces towards an enemy. If he hits that enemy,Genshin Impact’s Gamingwill jump even higher and do a Pyro AOE plunge attack that consumes 15% of his HP. After unlocking his passive talents, he will gain his HP back after 0.8s. His other passive grants him a 20% healing bonus if he’s under 50% HP and a 20% DMG bonus if he’s above 50% HP. His burst heals himself by 30% and deals AOE Pyro DMG after summoning Man Chai (the Lunar New Year dragon he has with him.) When Man Chai returns to him after that initial AOE hit, he resets the skill usage.
ForGaming’s build inGenshin Impact, players should know that there are quite a few sets that could work with his kit. However, most of them all have similar demands in terms of substats. He will always need a decent ER (if he’s the only Pyro unit in the team, aim for 170%), good ATK since he’s a DPS, Crit Rate and DMG, as well as EM if he’s in a reaction team. The artifact sets that are good for him are:

Gaming’s Weapons
He luckily has quite a few good weapon options since he has so many team comps he could be in. If players have a stat stick available (a weapon with a high stat that makes it invaluable), it may be a good pick for that reason alone. He would benefit more from a Crit DMG weapon at C6, but until then, finding a good balance with his stats is still a priority. Somesolid weapon choices for Gamingare:
Gaming’s Team Comps
As a unit that can slot into almost any team thatGenshin Impacthas to offer, Gaming’s team comps are extremely flexible. If players want to make him a Burgeon DPS, it is very easy and doesn’t take any special five-stars to accomplish. Units likeGenshin Impact’s Nahidaare not necessary for Dendro team comps; she just makes them stronger. The Dendro MC would work just fine. Some examples of teams and units he can pair with are:
Gaming’s Constellations
As a four-star, it is understandably harder to gainGaming’s better constellations, since there is no guarantee with four-stars the way there is with five-stars. But for luckier players who have a few, it should be said that his best constellation will be his sixth. It grants him a 20% Crit Rate buff, 40% Crit Damage, and increases the AOE for his skill. For lower constellations to prioritize, his C3 boosts his skill’s damage, which is important to his kit.
