Gearbox Software’s latestBorderlandsspin-off,Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, has dozens of hidden locations that players can only unlock by completing certain steps. And most of the time, these hidden locations have items that are well worth the effort of finding.
One such location is the Hidden Catacombs of Brightoof, whichTiny Tina’s Wonderlandsplayers most likely have seen gated off near the city’s well. And inside the catacombs, players can locateone of the 20 Lucky Dicesscattered in this area, plus a powerfulDOOM-inspiredweapon. But, unlocking the entrance requires the player to complete certain side quests, and only then do the gates open.

Accept the Side Quest: Lyre and Brimstone
The first step players will want to take is to accept the side questLyre and Brimstone. Players can obtain the quest either by the Bounty Board in Brightoof or by traveling directly to Weepwild Dankness and locating the quest marker on the Map.
Here’s a Brief Overview of the Objectives:
Players should come prepared withPoison Elemental Damagesince most enemies will be heavily armored. Moreover, the recommended level is 15 but can be done at a lower level if part of a Co-op party.
Collect Branches From the Evil Tree
Sinistrella tasks the player with locating some items that’ll make her band even more Metal, which involves collecting tree branches from an evil tree located in Terra Sanguina.
Upon arriving at the tree, the player is met with several Skeleton Mages, each possessing Elemental Damage. Once they’re dealt with, the player must hit the tree several times until it drops three branches, after which the player can return to Sinistrella.
Defend Talons of Boneflesh and Shut Off Speakers
After giving Sinistrella the tree branches, they’ll start playing a song that summons several Skeleton enemies that’ll begin attacking the band. So, now the player must defend the band from a horde of Skeleton enemies, and since the band refuses to stop playing, the player must also turn off three speakers located in the area. TheBrr-Zerker’s Action Skill “Feral Surge"can easily deal with the skeleton enemies since it’s a powerful AOE slam attack.
Help Plaguerat Apocalypse Gather Ingredients
After defending Talons of Boneflesh, the rival band “Plaguerat Apocalypse” asks the player to help them become even more Metal than Talons of Boneflesh. Now the player must collect: Thought of a Tyrant, Gravenness of a King, and Vision of a Viscount. These are all Badass Skeleton Bosses that will call to the aid of other Skeletons during the fight, so players should come ready.
After giving Plaguerat Apocalypse the ingredients, something explosive happens, letting Talons of Boneflesh win by default.
Defeat Talons of Boneflesh and Talk to Zygaxis
As players can expect, Talons of Boneflesh will want to sacrifice them to Zygaxis, so the player is forced to defeat them and another wave of Skeleton enemies. For the most part, Talons of Boneflesh are easy to beat, but players should be wary of the Skeleton enemies since they can easily box them into a corner. The reward for completing this side quest is 5688 XP, $9195, and a rare melee weapon “Metal Lute of Myth.”
Zygaxis will now appear to the player and tell them they must help him find a new host to possess, which is when he directs them to the catacombs of Brightoof and the new side quest starts: Inner Daemons.
Meet Zygaxis at Brightoof
Players should now return to Britghtoof and meet Zygaxis by the gate that leads into the catacombs.
Here’s a brief overview of the objectives:
The fight within the catacombs is quite a challenge since players will need to fight Mages, Skeletons, Zombies, and one Giant Skeleton Badass. So, players shouldfarm some Legendary Lootbefore venturing into the catacombs.
Perform 3 Sins and Enter Catacombs
Zygaxis now asks the player to perform three sins around Brightoof before he can open the gates. Players can freely choose which sins to perform as it won’t affect the final rewards, but each sin will have a different reaction from Valentine, Frette, and Tiny Tina.
After completing the three sins, players can return to the catacombs and break open the gate. Once past the gate, players will need to locate a not-so-hidden lever near the catacomb’s entrance. Then the player must make their way inside the catacombs until they reach the main chamber.
Fighting Leiara and Quest Completion
Once inside the main chamber, the player will need to fight Leiara and her mage friends. But, during the fight, Leiara will summon Skeletons, Zombies, and a massive Badass Skeleton that the player must defeat. After clearing the room, the player must find a suitable host for Zygaxis from among three prisoners. The player can choose any prisoner for Zygaxis to try to possess, but only one of them will work.
Upon completion, the player will receive 565 XP, $10299, and a rare SMG “Heckwader of the Hurricane.” And this SMG is no ordinary gun as it’s a direct reference toDOOM’sSuper Shotgun, and it’s just as powerful since it has +21% Fire Rate and +15% Reload Speed, not to mention it uses Fire Elemental Damage. Plus, they’ll now have access to the Catacombs that may tieinto a future Tiny Tina DLC.
