Marvel’sWandaVisionis perhaps one of the most talked-about shows these days, with a variety of fan theories taking over the internet. Fans of the Disney Plus show have to wait patiently every week for an episode drop, with a new episode airing every Friday, and it seems like the show’s list of fans includesSpider-Manactor Tom Holland.
While participating in a round of interviews to promotehis upcoming filmCherry, directed by the Russo brothers, the actor best known for his portrayal of Spider-Manrevealed that he is “obsessed” withWandaVisionand it is his “favorite Marvel thing.” He praised lead actor Elizabeth Olsen’s performance as the Scarlet Witch and commends the subtle humor in every episode.

Holland will be reprising his role as the web-slinging hero inMarvel Studios’Spider-Man: No Way Home, with production on the project currently underway in Atlanta, Georgia. In an interview withThe Playlist, Holland revealed that thecrew has been working over the weekends, and his favorite part about it is the new on-set tradition of the cast and crew catching up on Saturdays to discussing the latest episode ofWandaVision. Sharing their own theories and jumping online to read what other fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe have to say is part of their day before they head into work mode on their own Marvel project. “I love the apprehension of waiting for Friday,” Holland confesses.
That’s not all. Holland has also joked about making a possible cameo onWandaVision. Paul Bettany, the actor who plays Vision, has previously stated thatone major Marvel characterhas yet to make an appearance on the show. While Bettany has not confirmed any of the fan theories circulating online, he has noted that the character in question is played by an actor he has not worked with before. While Spider-Man and the Vision have been part of the same movies, they have never shared a scene together, which means Holland and Bettany have never been on set at the same time.
The two heroes,Spider-Man and Wanda, have also been in the same movies together before, albeit separately. They first co-starred inCaptain America: Civil WarandAvengers: Infinity Warbeforetheir paths briefly crossed during the climactic battle inAvengers: Endgame.
Holland, who has a close relationship with Marvel, finds it very difficult to stop himself from approaching Kevin Feige or any of the other producers on the set ofSpider-Man 3to ask them “what happens” onWandaVision. It seems like he will also be waiting until March 5 to find out how the extremely popular Disney Plus show ends.
WandaVisionis currently available to stream on Disney Plus.
