Recently, aCall of Duty: Warzoneplayer died in-game in what is perhaps the most unlucky and humorous way possible.
There have been embarrassing deaths in video games, and then there’s Reddit user MIXER-ONSIDEDAFF who was unfortunate enough to die inWarzonein what is maybe the silliest and craziest way ever: crushed by their own load out.

The player posted on Reddit about their unfortunate demise in-game, with the post’s title simply saying “Of all the ways I could’ve died… Literally 1 in a 1,000,000,” accompanied by the hilarious video of their death. Many other Reddit users reply on the page with humorous comments, with one stating that they got “thwomped Mario 3 style.” Another user even commented, stating that the same exact thing happened to them in a match recently. So, perhaps the occurrence isn’t as rare as MIXER-ONSIDEDAFF originally believed it was.

Since the game’s release in March earlier this year,Call of Duty: Warzonehas become one of the most popular games of the year, with a massive player base, receiving updates on a regular basis. The game’s fifth season is coming very soon andmany of theWarzone’s various bugs will supposedly get addressedalongside the major update. Season 5 ofCall of Duty Warzoneis set for an August 5 release date, which is less then a week away. The update is sure to bring plenty of new content to the free-to-play title, including the alreadyconfirmed introduction of the Shadow Companythat was first introduced in 2009’sCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
In otherCall of Dutyrelated news, the franchise’s2020 installment was recently leaked by Doritos. According to the leak, the game’s title isCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warand it will release some time in October of this year. This will technically be the fifth title in theBlack Opsseries of games. If reports are correct, the title should be announced by Activision very soon, as October’s just right around the corner.
