During a red-carpet interview uploaded by Variety’sElsa Keslassy, Kirby responded to questions regarding her potential involvement inFantastic Four. While she did not give a straight answer, her response was telling. Instead of denying her involvement, she gave a vague but positive response. “Oh, I don’t know! You’ll have to ask them … I would be very honored to join,” she said.
Kirby’s response could mean one of two things. Either Kirby is already cast in the film but has to remain quiet due to a non-disclosure agreement or a simple request from the studio, or she’s still in the running for the role, in which case she’s probably one of the favorites. If she is no longer attached toFantastic Four, she would have been free to kindly decline to answer the interviewer’s questions about her involvement.
Other rumors surrounding theFantastic Fourreboot involve its villains, who leakers claimed will be Galactus and the Silver Surfer. Recently, rumors claimed a female actor would play Galactus' herald. This herald could be the Silver Surfer character or another servant of the all-powerful villain. Despite actor John Krasinski’s surprise appearance asFantastic Fourleader Reed Richards, a.k.a. Mr. Fantastic, inDoctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Krasinski denied involvement in the 2025 film.
