Since its official release on March 10th,Call of Duty: Warzonehas managed to make an impact withover 30 million playerstrying out the game. As the latest entry in the popularseries,Warzoneis a battle royale shooter likeFortniteand other similar titles but with the weapons, gameplay, and design thatCall of Dutyfans have come to love over the years. However, the game also emphasizes other features like the inclusion of vehicles with one standing above the rest: the helicopter.
Out ofWarzone’sfive vehicles, the helicopter is the only one that can fly through the sky while the other four are stuck on the ground. Capable of carrying a whole squad, teams that obtain a helicopter will be able to move through Verdansk quickly and with style. Because of its impact, the more popular helicopter locations are usually swarmed by groups of players during the start of a match. Thankfully, there are many different and strange places to find a helicopter as a game progresses.

Helicopter Locations
OnVerdansk, players can find a helicopter at one of eight places. These locations are evenly distributed but four spawn points will be near the center of the map.
Best Places to Grab a Helicopter
From looking at the map, a squad should go straight for Gora Dam if they want little to no competition from 147 other players for their helicopter. Otherwise, Zordaya Prison Complex and Arklov Peak Military Base are the next two best spots to find an aircraft. Furthermore, opponents at Arklov Peak Military Base or Downtown Tavorsk District might be distracted by the various weapons and items available, allowing players to sneakily grab the helicopters located there. Teams should avoid spending too much time at hot spots like Verdansk Port unless they want to be sent tothe Gulag.
Using a Helicopter
After acquiring a helicopter through peaceful or slightly more violent methods, players can fly the whole squad towards other locations on the off chance there are still helicopters that haven’t been taken or destroyed. Alternatively, cruising through the sky means that the entire team can quickly visit different parts of Verdansk to gear up with loot. On that note, players should be aware that while helicopters offer a significant advantage, they are not invulnerable, are visible from far away, and a strayrocket or other strong weaponscan easily blow up the vehicle plus its occupants.
