Along the way, Loid searches for a wife in order to round out his pretend family. Conveniently, Loid comes across Yor who is also searching for a husband in order to cover upher job as an assassin.
The catch of the whole series is that each member of the family is hiding their secrets from one another. This adds tension to normal everyday scenes as each character tries their best to put on the mask ofbeing a happy ordinary family.

Loid’s mission is to gain intel on the president of the nation’s National Unity Party. However, Yor is an assassin working for the nation, disposing of any threats to national security.
