Summary

Picking up where July’s reward track left off, the August slate ofWorld of WarcraftTrading Post rewards will feature rewards from the game’s history returning to the spotlight. In addition to pets and cosmetic armor,World of Warcraftplayers that accumulate enough Trader’s Tenders can claim faction-exclusive mounts that were only available during past anniversary events.

In July, Blizzard announced thattheWorld of WarcraftTrading Post reward track would be expandedfor a limited time. This bonus not only had an increased amount of challenges for players to accomplish but also gaveWorld of Warcraftplayers the opportunity to earn up to 1,500 Trader’s Tenders per month. While this bonus will end after August 31,World of Warcraftplayers will have plenty of chances to get the rewards they want, and some of the rewards may invoke memories for players that still yearn for faction-based battles.

World of Warcraftplayers that earn 1,500 Traveler’s Log points in August will receive the Bones of the Bloodhunter ensemble as a cosmetic reward. The set is similar to garments worn by the Blood Trolls that playersfought against in theBattle for Azerothexpansion. The most expensive weapon of the month, the Fury of the Firelord mace, will cost 750 Trader’s Tenders. However, players will have several options available for 650 Traders each, including the Alabaster Stormtalon and Thunderwing mounts for Alliance and Horde players to respectively claim. For the same amount of Tenders, players can claim the Ancestral Clefthoof ground mount and the Spirit of Competition companion pet, which was previously available during the 2008 Summer Olympics. Two shields that bear the crests of the Alliance and the Horde will also be available for 50 Tenders apiece.

In order forWorld of Warcraftplayers to obtain enough Trader’s Tenders to claim the rewards they want, Blizzard has updated the list of Traveler’s Log entries to includeTime Rifts that were added inWorld of WarcraftPatch 10.1.5. Other activities that players can do throughout the month include the Trial of Style transmog contest, completing five Timewalking dungeons from The Burning Crusade expansion, and the Kalimdor Cup dragonriding race event. With different activities across the board to pick from, World of Warcraft players should have no problem deciding on which ones to prioritize.

With the release ofthe transmog tracker inWorld of WarcraftPatch 10.1.5, players will be able to track which Trading Post rewards they have earned. With so many transmog options to pick from in August, only time will tell how useful the feature will be.
