The phenomenon of daily quests inWorld of Warcraftwasn’t always part of the grind. In the days of vanilla, the only daily quests that existed were for battlegrounds, which seems strange today when there are enough to fill a whole day depending on a character’s level.

The Burning Crusadeadded several daily quests to the regular roster, putting emphasis on professions and grinding rep with certain factions. The retail version ofWorld of Warcrafthas whole guides, and some very lengthy ones, just to direct players through the vast selection of available daily quests. The version ofClassicthat’s currently running falls somewhere in between, with some of the Northrend quests essential for certain items and others that are just fun to do.
7Gretta The Arbiter’s Daily Quests
The setting of Brunnhildar Village was part of the quest chain that eventually leads to the Sons of Hodir faction. There’s a choice of four, and one is randomly chosen every day. These are all quests that the player has already done, so at least they’re easy and predictable.
They reward no rep and even the original quests didn’t reward any thrilling items. So why the hype around the most important daily quests in Storm Peaks? Because the reward for completing the random daily is the bag of Hyldnir Spoils, which has a chance to containthe only polar bear mountin the game. It seems odd for a wild Arctic continent to have so many mammoth mounts and only one polar bear, but this really is the only one.
6The Way To His Heart…
There are several quests players can do that reward reputation with the Kalu’ak Faction of Northrend, and it’s recommended that all of them get done to reach Exalted and get that penguin pet and purple fishing pole. If there’s ever a time when a choice has to be made, however, the most important quest in this category is “The Way To His Heart…”

It’s all about love with this unique daily quest. The player’s objective is to collect some delicious Reef Tasy Fish using Anuniaq’s Net, and then use the fish to lure a male sea lion across a little strait to find his mate.
5Hodir’s Call
Barely edging out the importance of a mount are the required enchants for aspiring raiders. The Sons of Hodir are a faction that lives in Dun Nuffelheim, just down the icy mountainside from Brunnhildar Village, and getting Exalted status with them is essential for access to the endgame enchants they sell.
The Sons of Hodir have a selection of quests that players can do every day, andfor those that only have time for a few, “Hodir’s Call” is the best one to get done if grinding rep is the main priority. The ghosts that have to be put to rest often carry Relics of Ulduar which can also be traded for reputation points.
4Chicken Party!
Some daily quests are a challenge and others are easy, and “Chicken Party!” combines both with a minigame that involves chasing wayward chickens. Players that are doing the Frenzyheart-Oracles quest chains will haveto do this quest at least once, and if they plan on being Exalted with the Frenzyheart, it’s one of the most important dailies in Northrend.
There are other quests available on Frenzyheart Hill, but this is the only one that’s the same every day. The other quests change on a daily basis like the ones in Brunnhildar Village or Dalaran.
3Marcia Chase And The Daily Fishing Quest
There’s a choice of five different fishing quests, and Marcia Chase is the Grand Master Fishing and Cooking Trainer is where players find the one for the day. She’s standing by the fountain in Dalaran on the same side of town as the Violet Hold.

The fishing quest is one of the best dailies to finish for a variety of reasons. Maxing out the Fishing skill is one, and after that’s accomplished, there’s still the Sea Turtle mount to find and Cooking resources that are required for consumes and Achievements.
2Troll Patrol
Most of the quests throughout Zul’Drak will give rep with the Argent Dawn, so adventuring and grinding in this zone is one way to grind repwith one of Northrend’s most importantfactions. The Argent Tournament grounds have yet to be released, and until they are, this is one of the options players have.
There are all kinds of dailies throughout Zul’Drak, but with nothing more required than a simple kill quota, this is one of the easiest daily quests along with being one of the most important.
1The Dalaran Cooking Daily
The Dalaran Cooking Daily is one of the quests that players have to get from a faction-specific NPC as opposed to a neutral one. Like many of the other dailies in Northrend, this is chosen from a random selection of five different quests and each is connected to Cooking somehow, but not all of them require a player to use their Cooking skill.
The rewards for this quest are resources that can be used to make important consumes, which is important at this stage in the game, especially for raiders and PvPers.
