All eyes might be on the championship matches, celebrity appearances, andpotential surprises that WrestleMania 38 has to offer. Any of the NXT talent that will participate in the seven matches on Stand & Deliver’s card certainly has the potential to steal the show this WrestleMania weekend.

Tommaso Ciampa and Tony D’Angelo

Toxic Attraction (c) v. Raquel Gonzalez and Dakota Kai

After winning the Ladder Match at Halloween Havoc, Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne of Toxic Attraction have held the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship for over 150 days. This isthe longest championship reignfor any women’s tag team in NXT. Raquel Gonzalez was attacked by Dolin and Jayne during the Dusty Rhodes Tournament, continuing the bad blood between Gonzalez and Toxic Attraction. After taking out Dakota Kai’s partner Wendy Choo, Dolin and Jayne thought they had eliminated any rivals challenging for their gold. Gonzalez and Kai have decided to put their rocky history aside to try and make history by winning the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship twice.

Tommaso Ciampa v. Tony D’Angelo

Over the past few weeks, Ciampa has made it clear that his match with D’Angelo at Stand & Deliver will behis final match in NXT. Ciampa has been a member of the NXT roster dating back to 2015 when he teamed with Johnny Gargano in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Tournament. D’Angelo has made a habit of getting on the bad side of long-term NXT stars, including Pete Dunne (who has since appeared onSmackDownunder the name of Butch). Given the lengths D’Angelo will go to win, Ciampa’s veteran experience certainly gives him the ability to prepare for anything D’Angelo might be able to throw at him.

Carmelo Hayes (c) v. Santos Escobar v. Solo Sikoa v. Grayson Waller v. Cameron Grimes

Carmelo Hayes defeatedIsaiah “Swerve” Scottin October to become the NXT North American Champion. At New Year’s Evil, he defeated Roderick Strong and unified the championship with the NXT Cruiserweight Championship. Hayes will put his North American Championship on the line in a Fatal 5-Way Ladder Match at Stand & Deliver against a former Cruiserweight Champion in Santos Escobar. The men in this match have proven that they can deliver an impressive single’s match and placing them in a Ladder Match on the grandest stage NXT can offer will finally give them the chance to prove their skills to those who may doubt what they can do.

LA Knight v. Gunther

Gunther has a history of going after those he believes are disgracing the wrestling mat. After accusing LA Knight of only being ableto challenge for championshipsbecause of his way with words, Knight has decided to step into the ring with Gunther to prove him wrong. Knight is coming off of losses to Grayson Waller and Dolph Ziggler, and a win against a powerhouse Gunther would certainly put his name back at the top of the NXT roster.

Mandy Rose (c) v. Cora Jade v. Io Shirai v. Kay Lee Ray

Io Shirai and Kay Lee Ray defeated the team of Dakota Kai and Wendy Choo to win the Women’s Dusty Cup and rather than challenging for the tag team championships, the womendecided to join the fightfor the NXT Women’s Championship. Mandy Rose defeated Raquel Gonzalez at Halloween Havoc to become the NXT Women’s Champion and has successfully defended her title a handful of times since then. Shirai is a former NXT Women’s Champion and Ray is the longest-reigning NXT UK Women’s Champion to date. Both Jade and Rose have the odds stacked against them, as Jade will have to overcome them to win her first championship over the weekend. As for the current champion, Rose does not have to be pinned or submitted to lose her championship.

Imperium (c) v. The Creed Brothers v. MSK

After winning the Men’s Dusty Cup, the Creed Brothers were expected to take on Imperium for the NXT Tag Team Championship a few weeks ago. They wereunable to compete following an attackin the NXT parking lot, and MSK took their spot. Imperium are currently into their second reign as NXT Tag Team Champions, and MSK looks to win the championships for their second time. The Creed Brothers look to capitalize on their win in the Dusty Cup Tournament and use that momentum to bring championship gold to Diamond Mine and become NXT Tag Team Champions for the first time.

Dolph Ziggler (c) v. Bron Breakker

Bron Breakker defeated Tommaso Ciampa to become the NXT Champion at New Year’s Evil. Breakker would lose the championship to Dolph Ziggler at NXT Roadblock, after Ziggler pinned Ciampato score the win. Ziggler’s NXT Championship win gave him the first world championship he has held in almost nine years. Breakker looks to reclaim his championship this weekend but in order to do so, he’ll have to keep his eye on Ziggler’s tag team partner Robert Roode, who will do anything to ensure Ziggler keeps the gold.
