As Microsoft prepares to release the Xbox Series X, it is clear thatXbox Game Passis bolstering the next generation console’s lineup. Now, it appears that the Xbox team is makingmajor additions for Game Pass members to enjoyacross consoles, phones and PCs. In an announcement made today, Microsoft announced thatFinal Fantasy 7 HDwould be one of the many popular games coming to Xbox Game Pass this month.
While the HD game might not havethe sharp graphics ofFinal Fantasy 7’s PS4 exclusive remake,it does provide Xbox fans with a version of the JRPG to enjoy. Furthermore, unlike the incompleteRemake,which currently has a second part in production, Xbox Game Pass members will be able to play the full game. AlthoughFinal Fantasy 7 HDis the most notable game, Microsoft has also added some newer and notable titles to its release schedule for non-RPG fans.

According to the Xbox Wire blog post,Darksiders GenesisandThe Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medanwill be available exclusively for the Xbox One. The other five games,Final Fantasy 7 HD,It Lurks Below, Trailmakers, UndermineandXeno Crisisare both available for PC and console users. Every title except forFinalFantasy,which releases on August 13, will be available on August 6. Microsoft also reminded Game Pass users thatF1 2019is already available after its addition last week. The company also promotedDesolation,a freeNo Man’s Skyupdate which advances the game’s narrative with new combat encounters on shipwrecked freighters.
After teasing someupdates to the Xbox Game Pass mobile app,Microsoft also teased some new perks for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate users, including a new cosmetic and currency bundle forSea of Thievesplayers, anPhantasy Star Online 2update bonus, newWorld of TanksandWorld of Warshippacks, and 15 Esoteric Scrolls fromNaruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker. All of these benefits will be available on August 5.
Many Game Pass users expressed their enthusiasm at this month’s lineup. Players are specifically looking forward toDarksiders GenesisandMan of Medan.RegardingFinal Fantasy 7 HD’s announcement, most responses stated that they would be more enthusiastic to seethe remaster ofFinal Fantasy X.Hopefully, Microsoft’s offerings continue to build up and keep Xbox fans hyped up for its consoles.
