AZelda: Tears of the Kingdomfan recently crafted a Light Dragon miniature that looks amazingly similar to the unique monster featured in the game. Fans often makeart based onZelda: Tears of the Kingdom, and this one is one of the most beautiful examples of fan artwork to be shared online recently.
It’s no secret thatZelda: Tears of the Kingdomwas a huge hit when it was released back in May. Not only has the game sold almost 20 million units so far, but also achieved great critical acclaim from both gamers and critics.Tears of the Kingdomreceived five The Game Awards nominations, including for Game of the Year, Best Game Direction, Best Art Direction, Best Score and Music, and Best Action/Adventure Game. Due to its popularity, it has a large fanbase which is eager to create amazing art based on it.

Now, oneZelda: Tears of the Kingdomfan called LunarRose5 devised an amazing Light Dragon made out of polymer clay. The pictures shared by the artist depict the Light Dragon on top of a stone shrine in three different poses. The creature is a long, white dragon with horns, and several spikes attached to its body, and it’s so very well sculpted and painted that it’s barely possible to perceive it’s made of clay while glancing at it. According to LunarRose5, the spikes of the Light Dragon were painted with a substance that glows in the dark, and the artwork looks even better then, as the dragon gets an even more ethereal look.
LunarRose5’s artwork was pretty well received by theZelda: Tears of the Kingdomcommunity, as most Redditors loved the piece. The creature depicted in the artwork, the Light Dragon, is one ofthe four dragons ofTears of the Kingdom, and some gamers praised the accuracy of its depiction. Its shape and face are very similar to the original version, but it’s also coming out of the same shrine where it resides in the game.
This is not the only artwork that fans made depicting the mythic Light Dragon, though. Back in September, another fan made aLight Dragon plush. It’s a completely different take on the mythic creature, making it look cute and fluffy, more than trying for a realistic depiction of the game’s art. The dragon plush’s body was really long, with a total of 51 inches, and it included all the little details of the original monster, such as its horns, spikes, and yellow mane.
