Summary
ALegend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomplayer has built a vehicle that collects wood after bombing trees. SinceZelda: Tears of the Kingdomwas released, players have made incredible bases and energy-efficient vehicles, but this machine is perfect for collecting wood.
While it shares some similarities with its predecessor,The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomoffers incredible player freedom with its abilities. Players have used Ultrahand to make tons of impressive contraptions and bases. Among the incredible builds shared online are a powerful beam carousel tank, an aircraft that can fly for two straight hours, and aStar WarsPodracer. As the community discovers more ways to combine the items inTears of the Kingdom, new unique creations come to light. ThisZeldafan has made a vehicle that specializes in lumber collecting to maximize wood yield.

Reddit user Ultrababouin recently shared aZelda: Tears of the Kingdomclip highlighting their unique wood-collecting machine. Like many other builds that have been shared, this vehicle has four wheels which are controlled withaTears of the KingdomSteering Stick. The front of the machine uses two springs to hold a targeted tree while a cannon shoots at them until they collapse into logs. The vehicle’s elongated design is meant specifically for catching the remains of a tree after it’s bombed. Once a log is collected, the player then reverses to deposit it in a desired spot.
How Does the Machine Transport the Logs?
Before Ultrababouin has collected a log, a spring near Link extends to block it in. The platform that the tree falls onto directs it towards the spring in the rear. This platform is only big enough to hold one log at a time, and it consumes more than oneZelda: Tears of the KingdomZonai battery chargeto collect each tree. While one log is thrown wildly after the cannon explosion, the spring near Link is still able to catch it at an angle and hold it there until it’s ready to be deposited. Out of nine trees destroyed by the gamer, eight logs are collected in nearly four minutes, which hints at how much wood players can acquire by using a machine like this one. The Reddit user has also stated that they plan to make a trailer that these logs can be loaded onto automatically.
Given that wood can be used forZelda: Tears of the Kingdomcraftingand cooking, some players may wish to replicate the build. Because this machine burns through Zonai charges so quickly, there may be ways to make it more energy-efficient.
