Recently on Reddit, user AnswerDeep8792 showed off their latest creation forTears of the Kingdom. Announcing that “Hyrule has entered the jet turbine age,” they revealed a craft featuring two engines with propellers. Each propeller sits on the opposite side of a small fuselage where Link is able to stand and steer. Despite looking somewhat cumbersome and lanky with two large engines sticking out on either side of an otherwise small craft, AnswerDeep8792 claims that it controls better than any of their other creations to date. The video attached to the video seems to support this assertion.

The video shows AnswerDeep8792 piloting the vehicle smoothly through the sky, executing stable turns, and even descending close to the ground without issue. This received encouraging comments from other Redditors in the thread. There was plenty of support for the design and for the work that went into it. There were also several questions about how building such a vehicle was even possible. Here, its creator was kind enough to jump into the thread, taking the time to answer some of these queries and help fellow designers.

This certainly isn’t the first impressive flying craft to grace the skies of Hyrule. Just recently, anotherTears of the Kingdomplayer built a hover-mechand plenty of other devices have been shared online since the game’s launch. Still, this latest design stands out as a great example of the style.
