A player discovers a useful trick inThe Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomthat makes killing skeleton enemies much easier. InThe Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, players may encounter these reanimated enemies while exploring Hyrule at night.
After acquiring various abilities and completingthe Temple of Time questwith guidance from Rauru, Link may safely descend to Hyrule and search for Zelda. Central Hyrule serves as an introductory area forZelda: Tears of the Kingdomas players are introduced to basic enemies, caves, Hylian NPCs, and side quests. Visiting Lookout Landing and investigating the situation around Hyrule Castle also gives players a series of main quests to complete. During this grand single-player journey, players will encounter dangerous skeleton enemies made up of the remains of Bokoblins and Moblins.

Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomplayer NineOdin discovered that Dazzlefruit will instantly kill skeleton enemies that rise from the earth and roam the world at night. The player made this discovery while attempting to shoot a mounted Stalkoblin enemy with a Dazzlefruit infused arrow. This Dazzlefruit infused arrow killed the mounted Stalkoblin and all surrounding skeleton enemies in a single shot. NineOdin confirmed that Dazzlefruit also works on large Stalmoblin enemies, allowing the player to save on valuable resources and weapons while quickly taking out these enemies.
Dazzlefruit is commonly found in the Sky Islands about Hyrule, andZelda: Tears of the Kingdomplayers may acquire large quantities of the fruit by heading to the Central Hyrule Sky Islands. The fruit may be attached to an arrow by usingZelda: Tears of the Kingdom’sFuse ability, and it may be thrown to produce the same stun effect after making contact. Attaching Dazzlefruit to an arrow is much more common due to an increase in accuracy, however.
This newZelda: Tears of the Kingdomtrick involving Dazzlefruit will allow players to save on the use of valuable materials and weaponry. Many powerful weapons are still subject to breaking after prolonged use, and players may want to keep these weapons forZelda: Tears of the Kingdom’sboss fights. Dazzlefruit may also be used to disarm enemies, making it a versatile item across many combat scenarios.
The latestZeldatitlehas hundreds of items for players to discover and combine, and many items have uses that may not be directly explained in the inventory menu.Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomfans will likely discover more tricks with common items in the coming weeks and months.
